Salou is a touristic municipality in Tarragona, Catalonia Spain with pretty beaches. There are some with golden sand and intimate coves. In Salou, there are 4 main beaches, and we shouldn't forget some of the important coves, patrimony to this enchanting place, an ideal destination for your beach holiday on the Costa Daurada.

During your holidays in Salou, Costa Daurada, Spain, you should definitely visit the Playa de Levante that is a little longer than a kilometer, with 1200 meters of golden sand. There are all kinds of services and equipment rentals there. It is an excellent urban, family beach that is ideal for the kids.

On the other side of town, you will find the Playa de Poniente which is also long. There is als othe Playa de los Capellanes, an urban beach at the foot of numerous apartments and chalet rentals. There is a high population on the beach, and golden sand.

Playa Larga is the next beach that you will see in Salou. It has golden sand and is located in a semi-urban beach, separated from the area most tread upon. Even still, the beach has a high occupation level and good services.

You must see the coves of Salou. Worth mentioning are the Cala de Lenguadetes, or the small coves of Cabo Salou, all of them ideal to explore by yacht, or swimming, scuba diving, or snorkeling.
